About this offering

Birth Keeper/Birth Doula Support

Birth belongs in the hands of women.

It is a sacred rite of passage, and within every woman lives an ancient knowing of how to bring life into the world. When this wisdom is honoured and supported, birth can be met with greater trust, presence, and awareness.

The way you are supported through birth and postpartum doula support shapes how you feel about yourself, your body, and your journey into motherhood.

Traditional wisdom reminds us that the body already knows the way. With the right support, you can reconnect with this deep inner guidance, learning to trust your instincts and birth in ways that feel seen, heard, and respected.

This work is about returning authority to the woman, supporting you to feel informed, resourced, and connected to your own embodied knowing as you move through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My role is to walk alongside you, holding space and offering grounded support as you remember the wisdom already within you.

What Birth Keeper/Birth Doula Support Includes

My support is grounded in presence, continuity, and embodied care throughout your pregnancy and birth journey. It is intuitive and responsive, shaped around your needs as they arise, rather than a fixed model or set structure.

Depending on your journey, support may include:

  • emotional and embodied support through pregnancy
  • birth preparation through conversation, reflection, and grounding practices
  • exploration of fears, beliefs, and inner resources as you approach birth
  • in-person presence and support during labour and birth
  • physical comfort measures and hands-on support during labour
  • reassurance, anchoring presence, and intuitive guidance during birth
  • support for partners or birth companions during labour and birth
  • gentle integration visit after birth to honour your experience and transition

Each birth is unique, and support is shaped by what is most needed in each moment, whether that is quiet presence, reassurance, grounding, or practical care.

This is a relational, intuitive, and centred approach focused on you feeling safe, supported, and deeply held as you move through the threshold of birth.

Postpartum Doula Support

The first 40 days postpartum is a time of deep landing for both baby and mother.

In traditional cultures, postpartum support is honoured as a sacred window of rest, healing, and integration as you soften into early motherhood.

Postpartum doula support offers nurturing, embodied care during this transition, supporting you to feel held, nourished, and less alone as you move through early motherhood, whether it is your first baby or your fifth.

I believe deeply in mothering the mother, and that the care you receive in this time ripples through your wellbeing and your family long after this early season has passed.

What Postpartum Doula Support Includes

  • preparation for postpartum session
  • in-home postpartum doula support and bodywork
  • nourishing postpartum meal support
  • breastfeeding support
  • emotional and embodied support
  • birth story listening and gentle debriefing
  • belly binding
  • postpartum honouring ritual or ceremony
  • herbal and aromatherapy support
  • presence, care, and practical support

All postpartum doula support is held with presence and care, guided by your individual needs.

A Continuum of Care Through Birth and Motherhood

Birth and postpartum are not separate experiences, but part of one unfolding transition.

My support honours that continuum, offering care that meets you both in pregnancy, at birth, and in the tender early weeks of motherhood.
